We are getting a new dog tomorrow and DD wants to name him Bennet. Only problem is he's already almost a year old and currently goes by Mr. Wrinkles. I don't know if he will adjust to a new name. DD says that OK. He'll be Mr. Bennett Wrinkles.

We adopted a rescue dog some time ago who was about 5 years old, and one of my daughters decided to chang the dogs name. She (the dog) was a little confused for a week or two, but it didn't take long at all for her to start responding to the new name. I say "Go for it!"
